stayed in one of the oldest houses of Eze and found inspiration for his third part of "Thus spake Zarathoustra" while climbing to the village by the path. The president Raymond Poincaré during an official visit stopped in Eze. He stayed then in the villa Les Pins. Sakarof, the painter, Princess Antoinette Grimaldi, the sister of Prince Rainier III of Monaco, and Bono of U2 have also put mark on Eze. |

Eze sea side has kept the charm of the Belle Epoque. The villa "Les Platanes" with a small entrance decorated with roses in bas relief and an alley of mandarine trees reminds the time when people from Nice used to come by train or by caleche to go to the shaded pinewoods beach. |
